We apply a few basic principals to all buildings; these include:

Health and Comfort – Buildings that are built with natural materials and incorporate daylighting create a sense of comfort and well-being. Surfaces that are warm to the touch create winter comfort while natural ventilation allows for cooling in the summer.
WARM FEET, COOL FACE

Efficiency and Durability – Construction and operation of buildings require significant natural resources. However these resources can be used intelligently to greatly reduce energy and material inputs. Properly designed buildings are capable of passively operating with minimal energy inputs while lasting the passage of time.
BUILT TO LAST

Quality and Beauty– When materials serve the purposes intended the natural beauty is expressed. Careful attention to detail and design with the individual occupant in mind results in functional and purposeful projects.  Ultimately the beauty of a project or building touches the inhabitants on an intuitive level which is not always apparent but is always appreciated.

Continuous mechanical ventilation of fresh filtered air assures superb air quality.

The core of permaculture is design and the working relationships and connections between all things. Each component in a system performs multiple functions, and each function is supported by many elements. Key to efficient design is observation of and inspiration from natural ecosystems, where designers maximize diversity and stress efficient energy planning.
